Definitely choose what YOU want. Your parents input is important but it comes down to what you want to do for the rest of your life. If you become an architect, you will be able to find a job, however, it could take a long time and a lot of effort to find a suitable job. You need to choose the career that you enjoy doing.

Hey, I'm in the same place as you. I want to major in business when i grow up since im only 13 years old and my mom made me plan on going into a medical field because it's prestigious and have a high salary. She said I could be the first one in our family to do it. But I convinced her that there are other jobs like lawyers and CEO who are very successful that interested me more. I dont want to go to school for 12 years and get married old. So you should either find a fun career in the medical fied or just search for any other prestigious careers relating to architect. One career iknow that is very succesful is an engineer or a designer. Try them out!

Help dental assistants out there?
I went to school for hygiene and assisting. I obviously started out with assisting. The program I took and most others in my state range from 15months to 2 years. You have the choice of getting your certificate or getting an associates. I don't know the rules for your state, but in arizona...

Is my dentist crazy?
As a dentist I am not sure why your regular dentist prescribed you this much medication. I can understand the Percocet, Ibuprofen (as this can usually be taken with Percocet if pain is not relieved), Phenergan and Amoxicillin (I assume you have no penicillin allergy) but the Vicodin is a little...

Does anyone know what dentists have good review in my area?
How about going to the Oregon Health and Science University's School of Dentistry right there in Portland? Dental schools are a great place to get dental care, and the fees are very reasonable as well (usually 1/2 that of a private dentist). The only downside is that it takes time-- 3 hours...
