Tooth pain, but dont know which?

I had that when I had my teeth filled. My teeth were close to root canals when they were filled. However, my denist said that if it was sensitive to heat and cold continously then a root canal was in the future. However, your filling will be sensitive to cold and air for a little bit. I had my cavities filled three weeks ago and all the tenderness is gone. Also, about not being able to tell which tooth that is, is normal. If it continues longer than a week, I would def. call the denist.
